   Hanover Township's nine acre rustic park has four picnic shelters,  one basketball court, horseshoe pits,        

 2 full play lots with Pirate Ship & Amish playhouse, restrooms, free  parking and paved walkways all handicapped accessible. 

  Except for the picnic shelters and One Room School House Picnic Pavilion, a usage fee is not charged for park facilities.  

   Park Pavilions

 The Hanover Community Park has four great pavilions 


available for summer picnics, reunions, graduation, anniversary or birthday parties. 

 All of the pavilions are accessible to the 

elderly and persons with disabilities.  

Now is the time to make your reservations! They fill up quickly.


The Park Picnic shelters and One Room School House Pavilion are available for rent.

Please contact the Township Office for reservations. Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.  located at 11 Municipal Drive, Burgettstown, Pa. 15021.

 Reservations are required and can be made by calling :  the township building 724-947-9109

One Room School House Pavilion: $100.00 rental   

New Large Pavilion: $100.00 rental  ------ 

Middle and Upper Pavilion $75.00 rental

A $25.00 cleaning deposit has been added in addition to the rental fee.

If submitted in two checks, the deposit check of $25.00 will be returned after your event ends, all rules were followed and area cleaned of debris.

The Hanover/McClurg Covered Bridge Festival Committee is seeking crafters and product vendors for our September  Event.


The festival is one of nine sites participating in Washington County?s Tourism promotion of South Western Pennsylvania?s Festival of Covered Bridges.


The Hanover/McClurg Bridge (restored and relocated) sits in a rustic 9 acre complex with free parking handicap parking, handicap accessibility, restrooms, pavilions, play areas and fence enclosure.  


Hanover Park is located on Steubenville Pike, Florence, PA within easy access of Weirton, WV, Steubenville, OH and Pittsburgh airport communities (1 mile from First Niagara Pavilion, Burgettstown).  Non-electric, generous space size available for weekend (primitive camp over welcome).  Outdoor space ? no electric (small generators permitted)
